In the course of Summer 2006 EMMEDI and SAET, two world-known Italian Companies in the field of Induction, have given course to an important development plan and have joined their forces to create the SAET GROUP.
On the threshold of their 40 years anniversary the two companies decided to merge and share an ambitious industrial plan to increase global presence on the markets and develop technological innovation with the aim to become the global partner for induction, able to assist customers in finding the best solutions, and supplying the most up-to-date products and services.
The headquarters of the SAET Group are located in Leinì, near Turin, Piedmont, Italy, on a 14,000 sq. m. area with assembly floor, machine tools and a test laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment.
Since 1968 EMMEDI has been producing technological systems up and running in more than 50 Countries world-wide, becoming a benchmark for simple use and long term reliability.
Fully equipped with EMMEDI appreciated technology and unbeatable reliability, the systems are tailor-made according to the specific requirements of every single end-user.
Production range is mostly based on High Frequency and Medium Frequency Induction Equipment for metal pipe welding, annealing process and heat treatment.
In the last few years, in addition to standard H.F. induction welders for longitudinal tube welding, EMMEDI has been getting specialised in heating equipment for in line double wall tube brazing (for cars brake circuits), pipe polyethylene coating and special in line bright annealing systems for stainless steel tubes.
SAET “Induction equipment and technology” was founded in 1966 and has continuously grown since then, guided by a clear strategic vision which brought it to gain a solid international reputation accompanied by the willingness to be a leader in its field. SAET provides Customers with state-of-the-art Process and Product technologies as soon as they are available on an industrial level. Working with SAET means having the certainty of technological quality in performance, along with customization made possible by an ongoing interaction with Customers (simultaneous engineering).
The new development opportunity granted by the creation of a reference point, a Pole of Induction represented by SAET GROUP, will surely stimulate the constant improvement of quality and services. Moreover, a plan that provides a global presence on the markets will give the possibility to be closer to customers and to satisfy their needs quickly and punctually, all over the world.
EMMEDI will be the Tube Welding and Annealing division within SAET GROUP, keeping a Trademark that has been a synonymous of quality and reliability of our product all over the world for so many years.
Mr. Erasmo Dominici (President of EMMEDI) as well as Mr. Savio Dominici (MD), in co-operation with SAET Management, Mr. Pietro Canavesio (President) and Mr. Davide Canavesio (CEO), will continue to participate actively to the management of the Company. Mr. Savio Dominici will be the Director of the new division and all EMMEDI staff will keep on giving their precious co-operation in order to guarantee business continuity to all our customers.
